Welcome to AUC 2026

We cordially invite you to AUC 2026, the 28th International Analytical Ultracentrifugation Workshop and Symposium, to be held at Uppsala University, Sweden, on August 24-28, 2026. Founded in 1477, Uppsala University is the oldest university in Sweden and the Nordic countries and home of Nobel laureate Theodor Svedberg.

The focus of AUC 2026 is on solution studies of biological macromolecules, interacting systems, synthetic polymers and nanoparticles. Techniques such as analytical ultracentrifugation (AUC), dynamic and static light scattering (DLS, MALLS), small angle X-ray and neutron scattering (SAXS, SANS), MST, NMR, SPR, field flow fractionation (FFF), calorimetry (ITC, DSC) and electron microscopy (SEM, TEM, CT) are featured.

AUC 2026 will open with several workshops, which begin on the morning of Monday, August 24th, and end on Tuesday, August 25th. These workshops will be given by leading experts in the workshop topics. On Wednesday, August 26th we will discover the beautiful city of the Stockholm.

A symposium will follow the workshop, starting in the evening of Wednesday, August 26th, with our keynote lecture and continue until the afternoon of Friday, August 28th. The symposium will offer poster sessions, an exhibitor fair, and discussions.

After many years, we are very excited to welcome the AUC community once again to Sweden!
